Los trastornos musculoesqueléticos (TME’s) afectan a la espalda, cuello, hombros y extremidades superiores de los trabajadores, aunque también pueden afectar a las extremidades inferiores. Representan el principal problema de salud laboral en nuestro país, con consecuencias no solo para la persona que los padece, que ve afectada su calidad de vida, sino también para las empresas, que sufren los costes directos e indirectos derivados de estas dolencias.
La promoción de la salud en el trabajo es uno de los pilares para instaurar prácticas preventivas exitosas y el camino a seguir para conseguir organizaciones sanas.
